From the age of four Sumo was in the ocean. Surfing, fishing and enjoying all that Hawaii had to offer. But as he grew, the Hawaii drug scene sucked him in and drugs and alcohol began to consume him.

Sumo was spiraling and life seemed
hopeless when a chance meeting with a missionary changed his life, and instead of ending up in prison he became a disciple of God.

Sumo’s life is a story of redemption. He found Jesus, and that changed him forever. Then he took that story and shared it with anyone who would listen. His message was simple; “Jesus Loves You!” He wanted everyone to know the love, power and grace that he had found.

The love that changed Sumo’s life from gang leader to God lover will change your life too. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Sumo and his family would be thrilled if you start your new journey by praying something
like this:

“Dear Jesus, I invite you to come into my life to be my Savior. I believe you died for me
and rose again to cleanse me from my sin.Thank you for loving me. Help me to follow
you every day of my life. Amen!”

If you prayed that prayer or have questions about God, we want to help you. Simply email us at: carol@ccanaheim.com and we will be glad to help you in your journey.

"When you are at the bottom, the only place to go is up!"
